2. Comparison

Perbandingan yang melibatkan sebuah ketidaksetaraan dari 2 objek yang dibandingkan. Contohnya :

“My pencil is longer than your pencil” , diawali dengan “is” lalu “than”. Untuk adjective nya kadang berbeda. Misalnya :

-Jika terdiri dari 1 – 2 syllable (suku kata), maka gunakan +er. Contoh : Longer, Bigger, Faster.

-Jika terdiri dari lebih dari 2 syllable (suku kata), maka gunakan more +. Contoh : more expansive, more difficult,

 

3. Superlative

Perbandingan yang melibatkan satu dengan banyaknya objek. Contohnya :

“My pencil is the longest of all” , menggunakan “is the …” dan untuk Adjective nya kadang berbeda. Misalnya :

-Jika terdiri dari 1 – 2 syllable (suku kata), maka gunakan +est. Contoh : longest, biggest, fastest.
