It was my birthday yesterday. To my great surprise and dismay, my friends at school had completely forgotten about. I was very depressed because I had been waiting to hear them wish me a Happy Birthday that morning.
When I arrived home my family had gone out. I was very sad so I decided to ring up my friend Ben. He also wasn’t at home. He had taken his dog for a walk.
By 8 p.m no one had come home or had even called me. I felt lonely and upset. I switched on the TV and made a sandwich for myself. I even changed over to my night suit. I had been watching TV when suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened the door and soon realized that my family and friends had been planning a surprise party all day. The climax was fun. They all rushed to me and said “Happy Birthday” very loudly. I felt embrassed because I had changed into my pajamas and here everyone was celebrating and having a party.
